I went to Iceland for a friend’s wedding, the photos here are from Akureyri, Reykjavik and the south side of the island. The place was incredible. I can’t begin to capture how hauntingly beautiful the land was, how it made me feel.

The glacier was an incredible landscape to visit. The temperature change was so dramatic, the contrast of the glacier itself and the earth it was plowing through was dramatic. I could have spent a day there photographing that place.

The earth feels very much alive there, you understand it’s a living breathing thing, the forces of nature are much more visible. It feels as though you are standing on a younger, still forming earth, like you traveled back millions of years.
